OWN IT, a conference for women leaders, helps millennials find their strong and authentic selves.

The producer of the Oscar-winning film Spotlight, Blye Faust ’97, and Beverly Hills’ first female chief of police, Sandra Spagnoli, were the keynote speakers at a unique women’s summit on campus last spring. The inaugural OWN IT conference was held in April and organized by SCU students affiliated with the campus Women in Business club.

Featured topics for future millennial women leaders: building confidence to ask important questions, authentic leadership, networking, and finding your unique voice in business. “We want to really help young women develop resilience,” says co-chair Isabella Giannini ’18.

Next year’s conference is already scheduled; mark your calendar for Jan. 28, 2018.
