Standardized test scores are optional for SCU applications for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To assist students facing unprecedented challenges amid COVID-19, SCU is adopting a two-year “test-optional” admissions policy for first-year and transfer students beginning in the winter 2021 term.

The new policy means students may submit scores from standardized tests including the SAT or ACT if they choose, but will not be penalized if they don’t. After two years, SCU will assess and revisit requirements for future classes.
